is preparing to re-open for the upcoming seasons! If you’re on the search for

Ready to see what’s in season and enjoy the gorgeous spring weather without having
to travel far from your apartment home?
Here’s what you need to know about BCFM:
When and Where
Boulder County Farmers Market re-opens on
Saturday, April 4 at 8:00 am and runs until 2:00 pm. The market in Boulder is
conveniently located between Canyon Blvd and Arapahoe Avenue. To view a map of
the grounds, head over to this website. Interested
in checking out what’s in season? Be sure to check back here
as we get closer to April.
For those closer to Longmont, BCFM is also available in Longmont each Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. Plenty of parking and free bicycle valet courtesy
of Bicycle Longmont are available at this venue, and free kids’
activities make this an exceptionally family-friendly weekly community
gathering.
The celebration of spring is sure to be an
exciting day as farmers and artisans gather to offer the newest harvest and
crafts. In addition to stocking up on fresh fruits, veggies, and more, the
atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a spring day outdoors with the community.
Boulder Saturdays feature live music, and seating is available. Although this
is an outdoor event, please leave furry friends at home.
About Boulder County Farmers Markets
Boulder County Farmers Market has been a
community mainstay since the mid-1980s. This nonprofit organization aims to
support local farmers and provide residents with access to the freshest local
food. This is a producer-only market, meaning that the farmers and ranchers
have produced everything they’re selling. The market began in Boulder, and
spread to the Longmont community in 2003. The Boulder farmers market location has
been recognized as one of the top 50 farmers markets in the country by Cooking Light,
and also operates Seeds Library Cafe at
the Boulder Public Library. In
addition to serving as the link between farmers and residents, BCFM gives back
to the community through the implementation of Harvest Bucks. This program
helps residents using SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) double
the value of their dollars when shopping for fresh food at the market.
The Boulder County Farmers Market is a beloved
presence within and beyond the Boulder community. If you’re looking forward to
attending Boulder or Longmont Saturdays, you may be on the search for a new
apartment home located near the action. Our beautiful, quiet campus is
conveniently tucked away on an abundance of green space, making us the perfect
