Chaffee County Road is part of the San Isabel National Forest, which offers
some of the best camping opportunities in the state.
Old Stage Road
As its name suggests, Old Stage Road served as the stagecoach
route from Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek in the 1800s. This campsite is

next adventure, the Almagre Mountain is a
challenging hiking destination with views that are worth the effort.
