Movie buffs rejoice! The critically acclaimed Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) is returning to Colorado in 2021.
Named one of the 25 coolest film festivals in the world, the popular four-day
event is sure to delight art enthusiasts both locally and across the globe as
they descend on Boulder
this summer.
Slated for June 24-27, filmmakers, actors,
producers and directors will showcase their latest masterpieces at various
venues in downtown Boulder, as well as in the historic Chautauqua Auditorium at the foot of the picturesque Flatirons. In addition to enjoying
up-and-coming film screenings, guests can expect to appreciate live music and
innovative cuisine from nationally renowned chefs throughout the gathering.
The Boulder International Film Festival was
created in 2004 when two local film-maker sisters, Kathy and Robin Beeck, had
the idea to bring great cinematic storytelling to their hometown. Their dream
became a reality in 2005, and 2021 will mark BIFF’s 17th year in action.
Tickets are on sale now. Guests can opt for
the Festival Pass ($495), which grants
access to the opening night red carpet gala and film, closing night awards
& film, special events (with the exception of the CineCHEF Fundraiser), all
BIFF outdoor cinemas, four select films in BIFF's virtual cinema, and priority
access to film venues. Tickets can also be purchased for individual events.
