Anderson Farms
It’s not fall until you’ve stopped by Anderson Farms. This fall festival is chocked full of autumn-centric events, including a wooden train, wagon rides, a pumpkin cannon, a tire mountain, a corn maze, and farm animals. You can also book a private campfire; the farm’s got 40 different sites complete with log benches and tables that can seat up to 50 people.
Maize in the City
Maize in the City is located in Thornton and merges rural fun with urban living. It features a corn launcher, sand art, barrel rides, a hay bale maze, a playground, corn mazes, and a pumpkin patch. It’s a great place to spend a weekend afternoon, wearing out little ones.
Cottonwood Farms
The pumpkin patch at Cottonwood Farms has a corn and straw maze and other family-friendly activities. You can get in for $5, although pre-paid admission is encouraged (especially on weekends). Children five and under and seniors over 65 are always free.
Munson Farms
You can pick your own pumpkin at Munson Farms and explore the maze. But this farm isn’t limited in its ability to produce produce. You may also buy heirlooms, winter squash, sweet corn, peaches, flowers, and more.
7th Generation Farm
7th Generation Farm offers a pumpkin patch, hay rides, a hay mountain, and farm animals (including cows, horses, sheep, goats, ducks, geese, and pigs). Entrance is $6 for everyone three years and up. It’s also open year-round for those looking to buy produce, including meat, eggs, and honey.
